Our Young Scientists Worthily Represented the Institute at the SSI Young Scientists’ Research Conference-Competition.

On March 3, 2026, the SSI Young Scientists’ Research Conference-Competition began its work and will continue until March 5. Already on the first day, within the “Chemistry” section, young researchers from the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry of the SSI presented their studies, demonstrating a high level of preparation and the relevance of their research topics.

Young scientists from various scientific departments of the Institute took part in the conference.
Department of Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry:
  - Vladyslav Vereshchak — M.Sc., Ph.D. student, Junior Researcher
  - Anna Korobka — student, B.Sc., 1st Class Engineer
  - Vladyslav Honcharov — M.Sc., Ph.D. student, Junior Researcher
  - Tetiana Savluk — M.Sc., Junior Researcher
  -  Viktor Tomak — M.Sc., Ph.D. student
B.M. Krasovitsky Department of Luminescent Materials and Dyes:
  - Petro Radionov — Master’s graduate, 1st Class Enginee
  - Andriy Vashchenko — Bachelor’s graduate, Student, 1st Class Engineer
A.B. Blank Department of Analytical Chemistry:
  - Volodymyr Sirous — PhD student, Junior Researcher
O.V. Shishkin Department of X-ray Structural Studies and Computer Chemistry:
   - Viktor Tokarev — PhD in Chemistry, Researcher

The conference is held in the format of oral presentations within three thematic sections:

  -  Chemistry
  -  Physics
  -  New Materials and Technologies — Devices and Instruments Based on Them
The aim of the event is to support young researchers, promote their professional development, and create a space for open scientific dialogue. The conference brings together young scientists and students conducting research at the SSI “Institute for Single Crystals” of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and its structural divisions. It provides an opportunity to present research results, receive professional feedback, exchange experience, and initiate new interdisciplinary collaborations.
We are proud of our young scientists and wish them productive work, engaging discussions, and new significant scientific achievements!
