Yesterday, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry (IFMC) was held in a hybrid format. It was a productive session packed with important decisions. The focus was on both the professional achievements of our researchers and the continued optimization of the Institute’s structure.
During the meeting, the academic title of Senior Researcher was awarded to our colleagues Anna Liapunova, PhD (Pharmaceutical Sciences) and Ihor Zinchenko, PhD (Pharmaceutical Sciences).
The Scientific Council also approved a number of decisions related to the reorganization of the IFMС’s structure.
Special attention was given to updating the composition of the IFMС Scientific Council, as well as to recommending new members to the Scientific Council of the SSI “Institute for Single Crystals” of the NAS of Ukraine.
A lively discussion was sparked by an engaging and insightful presentation from Mykola Horobets, D.Sc. (Chemistry), Senior Researcher, who shared his experience of a research fellowship at theInstitute of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics, Philipps University Marburg (Marburg, Germany).
The team of the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry is confidently moving forward: research areas are expanding, the organizational structure is being updated, and international collaboration continues to grow.
