Our researchers presented their findings at the Central European Conference on Photochemistry.

Researchers from the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry — Head of the B.M. Krasovitsky Department of Luminescent Materials and Dyes, PhD in Chemistry, Senior Researcher Anatoliy Tatarets; Department Engineer Andrii Vashchenko; Senior Researcher of the A.B. Blank Department of Analytical Chemistry, PhD in Chemistry, Senior Researcher Ilias Shcherbakov; and PhD student and Junior Researcher of the same department Alvard Timonina — presented their research results at this international forum.

The event took place on February 1–5 in Bad Hofgastein (Austria) and was dedicated to the latest advances in the photochemistry of organic and inorganic materials, as well as applied research involving photochemical processes.
Participants explored state-of-the-art tools for conducting breakthrough experiments, particularly in the field of detection of ultrafast processes, and discussed practical aspects of implementing innovative ideas with engineering developers. The conference brought together the international scientific community, providing a platform for professional dialogue and exchange of experience.
As part of the conference, working meetings were held with international partners to coordinate ongoing research and plan future joint projects. The parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation, academic mobility, and participation in EU grant programs.

Participation in such events opens new opportunities for integrating Ukrainian science into the European Research Area, promotes the implementation of modern technologies, and strengthens international partnerships, reinforcing the position of the Institute of Functional Materials Chemistry as an active participant in global scientific collaboration.
